School Day of Non-violence and Peace is celebrated on January 30 every year, on the anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi. Its message is: "Universal Love, Non-violence and Peace, Universal Love is better than egoism, Non-violence is better than violence, and Peace is better than war" There are lots of songs about peace but "Imagine" by John Lennon is one of my favourites. Listen to one the most beautiful songs ever created by one of the world´s great musician and peace activist. This song has stood the test of time and it´s an anthem for peace.
Let´s sing it all together on Thursday and on Friday in class. Here is the video with the lyrics ("Imagine" & "Love")
