TUBEOKE: WATCH AND SING!

At TubeOke you can find music videos and lyrics right next to it. So you can sing along while watching, learning and enjoying songs.
All you have to do is to search for a song you like, by typing in the name of the song and artist in the box. Once you have found the song you want to learn, watch the video and read the lyrics.
This is a great way to improve your listening, vocabulary and pronunciation, my dear pupils. Enjoy!

JUICY FRUIT´S SERENADING UNICORN

Send a song you like to a friend with a funny unicorn puppet at Juicy Fruit´s Serenading Unicorn. It´s a very cool campaign. Check it out!
There are three songs to choose:
- "Do you really want to hurt me" by Culture Club
- "How am I supposed to live without you" by Michael Bolton.
- "On Bended Knee" by Boyz II Men.

AESOP´S FABLES

Hi kids!
Do you like fables? Do you know "The Tortoise and the Hare" where an overconfident hare loses a race to the slow tortoise, or "The Lion and the Mouse" where a tiny mouse saves an angry lion from a hunter´s trap?
At Fables from Aesop, adapted and illustrated by Tom Lynch, you can listen four well-known fables. The creator uses hand sewn patchwork tapestries to illutrate them. Cute!

THE SECRET DANCER GAME

The Secret Dancer is a Tate Modern´s creation of an online game which has "The Little Dancer" bronze statue, by Edgar Degas, as the main character.
In the game the Little Dancer comes alive, running and hiding in Tate Modern museum in London until the clues are solved and she performs a dance.
Watch this interactive film game and find the Little Dancer by clicking quickly and solving puzzles along the way. It´s really entertaining and fun!

LEARNING ENGLISH THROUGH MOVIES

This is a great place to learn English and it is a great place to sample some interesting short films.
At Lingual Net you can choose a movie category (drama, animation, documentary...) and click on the film you like. Watch the movie two times, kids, one with subtitles and once without them. After you watch once or twice, click on "Take the quiz" and check your answers. Then watch the film one more time. Have fun!

LEARN AND SING YOUR FAVOURITE ENGLISH SONGS

On the Karaoke Party website you can find lots of songs with the lyrics and videos of the original singer.
Choose your favourite song, click on "INFO" button and then "PREVIEW" to listen to the song, watch the video or look at the lyrics (words of the song) at the bottom of each page. Then try to sing along but... don´t use microphones in the classroom, please!
